Ecocultural factor in modern society

An event was held at secondary school No. 179 of Binagadi district of Baku city within the framework of the project "Eco-cultural factor in modern society", which was the winner of the VI grant competition for development and innovations in education of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The head of the project, Aytekin Namazova, made a speech and greeted all the guests, teachers and students. Later, he gave information about the project.
Later, the head of AgroPlatform, Elnur Islamov, who was invited to the event, informed the participants about the importance of greening for the world and our country, and about the achievements and prospects of the "Green Azerbaijan" (www.greening.az) project, whose main motto in this direction is thinking of future generations. Later, Arzu Aliyeva, a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, an expert of the project, spoke and informed the participants about the non-stop peaceful action held on the Shusha-Khankendi road against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in Karabakh. He talked about the eco-culture factor in the action.
Finally, Gulnara Valikhanli, the head of "Goyerçin"-Education Development Support Public Union, made a speech and emphasized that one of the main tools in the formation of environmental culture is targeted environmental education. Ecological education means a continuous process of education, upbringing and development aimed at the formation of a general ecological culture, ecological responsibility in every inhabitant of the planet, ecological responsibility of every inhabitant of our planet. Deformation of the system of ecological relations, lack of a sense of responsibility for the future is the source of ecological crises. High and secondary school graduates and the population as a whole have a consumer attitude towards nature; the demand among the population to study the environment and participate in its improvement has not developed. Therefore, the goal of environmental education is the formation of a responsible attitude towards nature.
