"STOP bullying empathy club" project
The opening event of the "STOP Bullying Empathy Club" project, which won a grant in the "VI Grant Competition on Development and Innovations in Education" of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held at Adalat Abbasov Secondary School No. 257, Khatai District, Baku. school management, parents and students were informed about the project winner, school psychologist Zohra Ibrahimova.
The main goal of the project is to form a sense of empathy in students in the fight against bullying. The project will last for 3 months. In the project, students will be selected for the Empathy club by selecting 30 people from among those who are interested in this topic.
The activity of the club will consist of activities that will be organized at the school during the week. 1 activity per week and 1 meeting with a psychologist are planned for 3 months. There will be a meeting with the parents of students selected for the Empathy Club twice - at the beginning and at the end of the project. In the project, it is planned to watch films on various psychological topics in order to form a sense of empathy in students
The project will also create a "Trust mail". They will be able to write the situations they are facing as a letter and send them to the psychologist through the "Trust mail". With the condition that the letters received by "Etibar postu" will be kept confidential, a separate psychological meeting will be held with them and we will try to support them.
In the end, Saida Ahmadova, head of the school environment and psychological service organization department of the Baku City Education Department Training Support Center, congratulated the project winner and gave her recommendations.
