The power of faith
In a study conducted in the UK, a group of students applied a test to measure their level of intelligence. As a result of the test, they formed a class of those with a high level of intelligence, and another class of those with a low level of intelligence. Then they told the class with low intelligence that they had high intelligence according to the test results, so they would have difficult lessons, and the class with high intelligence said that they had low intelligence according to the test results, and therefore they would have easy lessons. At the end of the year, they held a joint exam for both classes, and strange as it may seem, those with lower IQs scored higher, while those with higher IQs scored lower. The implication is that those with lower levels of intelligence succeed because they believe they have higher intelligence, and those with higher levels of intelligence fail because they believe they have lower intelligence.
